Meetings and Events

Our meetings start at 7.45 pm and normally consist of two periods of one hour with a twenty minute break for refreshments and  visit to our record bar (pictured). The programmes consist of two half-hour  recitals during the first half with a forty-five minute recital in the second half  followed by a fifteen minute programme of members' requests plus the usual raffles and notices. Members are encouraged to bring guests and all other members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings. All recitals are controlled by  the Programme Controller, and  vetted prior to each meeting to ensure the good sound quality, and standard, associated with our society.

We have entertained many well-known musicians over the years. Herb Miller (Glenn's younger brother), Herb's son John Miller, Jack Parnell, Ronnie Hughes, Stan Reynolds, Henry Mackenzie, Don Lusher (all ex-Ted Heath),  John Flanagan, Si Zentner, Milt Bernhardt, Johnny Keating, Ray Davies, Campbell Burnap and others.
